Travel
India doesn’t need an introduction. She is diverse, rich, chaotic but there is unending beauty in her chaos. We encourage you to experience its wonders whilst you come to the wedding. Ron will tell you to spend all your time in Goa, which is an incredible and interesting experience but there is still plenty to see in the rest of the country. We have put together some itinerary ideas to inspire your travels, the rest of the planning, we will leave to you.

Travelling to India – For British and EU Citizens
All EU and British citizens (tourists or business) require an Indian visa prior to departure to India. Children require their own visa as well. The application form can be completed online and needs to be submitted in person to the Indian Embassy. This may be moved to online applications in the near future however please refer to the official website for up to date information.
Recently there have been long waits to get an appointment and the visa processing time is longer than usual. We advise you to refer to the official Indian government website for further information and complete your application in advance to avoid missing out on the wedding fun!

You may be required to complete a self declaration form regarding covid-19 but this may change over time and we advise you to check the official government website prior to travel.
N.B – The above advice is collated from official government websites and is dynamic. Please make sure to check the official information before travelling.
Jaipur

Jaipur was an easy decision when it came to picking our wedding location for it is Suchita’s hometown alongside its rich history and architecture. Hidden away in Jaipur you’ll find the best food you’ve ever eaten, interesting people and gorgeous palaces.
The weather in Jaipur however isn’t as glamorous. Although it is much cooler in October, the temperatures in the daytime can reach up to 30 degrees but the night brings with it a cool breeze and lows of 18 degrees.
Having spent the first 17 years of my life in Jaipur, it brings a wave of emotion when I try to describe it. And so I won’t try and fail badly at it, I will let you experience it for yourself at the wedding. I have compiled below an inconclusive list of my ultimate favourites in Jaipur, in no particular order for you to enjoy.
-Suchita
Suchita’s Jaipur

- Jal Mahal
- Choki Dhani – little Rajasthani village experience, they’ve got camels and elephants, folk dancers , a Rajasthani restaurant) – definitely recommend a visit for the full Rajasthani experience, they do Rajasthani food called Daal Bati Churma, great fun!
